Public Notice: Property Tax Increase
The City of Flowery Branch, GA, has tentatively adopted a millage rate, requiring an increase in property taxes by 6.91% percent.
All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this tax increase to be held at Flowery Branch City Hall, 5410 Pine Street, Flowery Branch, Georgia, on June 20, 2024 at 6:00 PM.
This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 3.264 mills, an increase of 0.211 mills. Without this tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 3.053 mills. The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $425,000 is approximately $35.87. The proposed tax increase for non-homestead property with a fair market value of $450,000 is approximately $37.98.
