November 7, 2023 City Council Qualifying
The terms for city council are four year terms beginning January 1, 2024 and will run through December 31, 2027.
Council Post 1 - $216.00 qualifying fee – currently held by Chris Mundy
Council Post 2 - $216.00 qualifying fee – currently held by Joseph Mezzanotte
Important dates to remember:
Monday, August 21 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Qualifying for election
Tuesday, August 22 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Qualifying for election
Wednesday, August 23 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Qualifying for election
To be eligible to run for a City Council position, you must meet the following requirements the date that you qualify:

You must have been a resident of the City for at least on year prior to the date of the election

You must be registered and qualified to vote in the municipal elections of the City.

You must submit a Notice of Candidacy Application.

You must submit a declaration of Intention to collect campaign contributions.
