Possible Quorum Notices
A quorum of the members of a governmental body may assemble in an informal setting, such as a social occasion, but will not be subject to the requirements of the Open Meetings Act so long as no official business, policy, or public matter is formulated, presented, discussed, or voted upon by the quorum.
The attendance by a quorum of the City of Flowery Branch City Council at these gatherings is not considered a “meeting” under the Open Meetings Act.
No formal action will be taken.
